What this site collects
Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics and no advertising on this site, and every font, image and script is served from this site itself, so your browser doesn't contact anyone else while you read it.
The host of the site keeps ordinary server logs (such as your IP address and the pages requested) for security, as every web server does. We don't use them to follow visitors.
Things kept in your own browser
The map remembers which pins you've switched on, the last place you looked at, and any notes you leave on it. These are stored in your browser's local storage, never sent anywhere, and you can clear them by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The mailing list
If you sign up for letters from Bergdorf, your email address is stored by our mailing list service (Kit) and used only to send you those letters. You'll be asked to confirm your address first, every letter has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share the list.
