Things Pfarrer Anselm says
The bell has rung for every wedding in Bergdorf for two hundred years. I would like it to ring for a few more.
Visitors light candles too. A chapel full of guests on a Sunday is a sight I would like to see again.
Your grandfather carved the crib we used to set up at Christmas. The mice got it, in the end.
The flowers on the altar come from the mountain. Edelweiss most of all, but do not tell the ranger.
I bless the cows before the Alpabzug. They do not listen, but they come home every year.
